
On April 30, 2026, the Palmetum of Santa Cruz de Tenerife will become a leading venue for analysis and debate on the future of cities, hosting the 2nd International Conference “City 360°”.
In a unique setting, this event will bring together seven speakers of renowned national and international prestige in fields such as urban planning, the environment, mobility, and technology, with the aim of reflecting on how to transform our cities in response to current challenges.
The conference will address key issues such as urban regeneration, sustainability, climate change adaptation, and innovation in mobility models, focusing on the creation of more resilient, inclusive, and livable environments.
Through this participatory approach, the II International Conference “Ciudad 360°” seeks to promote concrete solutions and innovative strategies that contribute to positioning Santa Cruz de Tenerife as a benchmark in urban regeneration and sustainable development.

Jenny Andersson is the founder of The Really Regenerative Centre CIC and a regenerative designer, practitioner, and educator who centres her work on the power of place to transform economy, ecology, and culture from neighbourhoods to bioregions. Guided by the first principles that sustain life, Really Regenerative seeks to realign human economic and cultural systems through place‑based, community‑led work and the transformation of place‑based institutions to shape Places For Life. Drawing on experience in international development, global brand strategy, communications, and sustainability narratives, Jenny Andersson integrates learning from living systems, indigenous wisdom traditions, developmental evolution, and regenerative design. Really Regenerative CIC supports cities, bioregions, and communities to build social infrastructure, develop lighthouse demonstrators and social movements known as Centres For Life, and foster practices, processes, and cultures that enable transformative change across European and international contexts.

Melissa Sterry is a globally recognised scientist, designer, strategist, and futurist working at the edge of sustainable innovation, biodesign, and resilience. Founder of several internationally acclaimed first-to-market start-ups, she pioneers unprecedented nature-inspired design solutions to highly complex challenges.
As the founding director of boutique biofutures consultancy Bioratorium® and of Bionic City® - the seminal exploration of how nature would design a city with resilience to natural hazards, Melissa is at the forefront of integrating bio-innovation into mainstream design, architecture, construction, and planning.
A chartered scientist with a PhD in design for building resilience to wildfires, and a recipient of numerous prestigious awards, fellowships, and other honours, Melissa is published in over 60 international titles.

Javier Garcinuño Zabala holds a degree in Economics and Business Administration, as well as an MBA and an AMP from IE Business School, and has more than 25 years of experience in senior management positions in both public and private environments. He is currently the Director General of Bilbao Ekintza, the economic development agency of the Bilbao City Council, where he leads policies related to entrepreneurship, employment, investment, and major international events. He has promoted strategic projects such as the Punta Zorroza Audiovisual Hub and the post‑pandemic Resilience Plan. Previously, he has held executive positions at Hasten Ventures, IE Business School, Grupo Vocento, and Eroski, standing out for his work in strategy, growth, and public‑private collaboration.

With over 25 years of experience leading large-scale urban transformations, Waldemar Olbryk works at the intersection of cities, technology, and leadership. As the former CEO of Archicom and a board member at Echo Investment, he pioneered the "15-minute city" concept in Poland, delivering MIPIM award-winning destinations like Fuzja. Today, as an independent advisor, he helps organizations navigate complexity through "Futureback Thinking" and "Human Steady" leadership. Waldemar combines corporate execution with a systemic, human-centered outlook, focusing on strategic advisory that bridges urban ecosystems with future-ready business strategies—fostering sustainable growth for forward-thinking cities and organizations worldwide.

Sergi Alegre (PhD in Contemporary History) is the current Director General of the Airport Regions Council, the European organization of regions and cities that host an international airport within their territory.
Due to his responsibilities, he regularly participates as a speaker in numerous conferences and events focused on the various issues related to the relationship between airports and territories, with one of the most significant being territorial and urban integration. He is also involved in numerous sector-related projects financed through European funds.
Previously, he served for 27 years as Deputy Mayor for Urban Planning, Transport, and the Environment of the City Council of El Prat de Llobregat, as well as a councillor of the Barcelona Metropolitan Area.

Architect, economist, and sociologist, PhD in Urban Planning. Founder of the Metrópoli Foundation, he has advised governments and cities around the world on innovative urban strategies. His work has been recognized with international awards for his contribution to sustainable urban planning.

PhD in Geography and History from the University of La Laguna, where he works as a tenured professor of Human Geography. Lecturer in the Degree in Geography and Spatial Planning, also participating in postgraduate programmes in regional development, use and management of cultural heritage, social and community mediation, teacher training, local development, and territorial innovation. Promoter of participation and community intervention projects at different scales, from local to regional. Citizen activist in the recovery and community care of cultural heritage, with a clear projection in his academic and scientific work. Alonso de Nava y Grimón Award for his scientific and professional career with social commitment (2021).
